U.S.: Non-Safety-Related Recall of Lots of Sanofi Pasteur's 2009 H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccine - Pediatric and Adult Dosages

Sanofi pasteur has voluntarily recalled the following 6 lots of 2009 H1N1 vaccine (shipped between November 2009 and January 2010) after testing determined the doses did not meet specified potency levels.

* 0.25 mL pre-filled syringes in 10-packs: UT023AA, UT023BA, UT023CA, UT023EA,
  UT023FA
* 0.5 mL pre-filled syringes in 25-packs: UT037AA

Revaccination of individuals who received doses from these lots is not necessary. Sanofi pasteur will send directions to providers for returning unused vaccine from affected lots.
